Win a Rowdy Sprout rocker tee (or onesie, PJ’s or dress!) – read on to find out how…
One of the coolest chicks in my mommy & me is Laura Angotti, owner and designer of Rowdy Sprout rocker wear for babies and kids.
Using iconic imagery from classic rock bands like The Beatles, Nirvana and The Grateful Dead (all fully licensed), Laura creates hip vintage styles for onesies, tees, PJ’s and dresses. Her line, Rowdy Sprout, is sold in over 500 boutiques worldwide and is popular with celeb moms like Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Pink and my girl Angelina Jolie.
This is Laura’s son, Briggs, sporting Rowdy Sprout. He’s kind of Viv’s boyfriend.
Once our mom’s group discovered who we had in our midst, the Rowdy Sprout orders started pouring in. (Um, Laura, can I get the AC/DC long sleeved thermal dress, size 6-12 months? Thanks…)
I know the parents of boys have been overjoyed to find duds for little dudes that are actually fun and fashionable.
As the mother of a girlie girl, I’m psyched any time we can take a day off from pink cotton candy and work some rock & roll edge. After all, we are shaping the musical tastes of tomorrow; this is our chance as parents to put in a good word for The Who before baby favorite Justin Bieber takes over! (yes, that’s Viv)
Plus, Rowdy Sprout clothes are crazy soft and wash beautifully.
So guess what?
Carriage Before Marriage is giving away an item from Rowdy Sprout’s brand new spring line to one lucky reader.
Go to RowdySprout.com and browse. Then leave a comment below saying which look you’ve gotta have and why.
Example: My daughter Viv had to have this Journey dress because she so enjoys her mom’s totally on-key rendition of “Separate Ways,” frequently belted out in the car on the way to the market.
Most styles are available in sizes from 3-6 months up to Kids 12.
The giveaway is open from February 20 – March 1, 2012. The winner will be chosen using Random.org and announced on the blog, so make sure you subscribe.
Don’t forget to like Rowdy Sprout on Facebook to find out first about new styles and special offers. Plus, you’ll be supporting a mom-owned business that makes all their stuff in the US of A. Yay.
The giveaway is now closed. Thanks for playing.
So many great choices. Would totally go for the Run DMC but then I remembered I don’t have any kids. I do, however, need a number of gifts for friends’ babies, so I’m going with the Nirvana onesie. That way when my friend realizes it’s time for a diaper change he can just say “it smells like teen spirit.”
I love this blog and love Rowdy Sprouts!! OMG…so cute! My fave is the Journey onesie. I know my little boy will be a huge fan of Steve Perry like his mom. 🙂
Oh Dear – who doesn’t want that Journey dress??? I freekin’ love it, well done! My daughter has been rocking the ACDC dress but I think that summer is all about the Journey!!
My son is turing two, koo koo kachoo. Can’t wait for his friends and family to COME TOGETHER for his special day by following the LONG and WINDY ABBEY ROAD.
My husband, son and I are huge Beatles Fans and are having a Beatles theme birthday party. All you need is love, his the shirt for him.
ok i have never blooged before, but i just signed up. love rowdy sprout. have gotten a few things in the past, mostly beatles stuff because the husband loves them, so it is nive to see my daughter in it.
but i think that i would like to get the either the blondie or ac/dc dress this time
thanks
I would Love to have the Run DMC Shirt for My Lil Man, because I have just updated his sneakers collection with Adidas and all that’s missing is the Fab shirt by Rowdy Sprouts!!
Thanks for the chance to win such a Fab Prize for our Rocker Babies!! XOXO
So many to choose from! I have a Rowdy Sprout jacket for my son, but he would look amazing in the John Mellencamp T-shirt. The first concert my son went to was John Mellencamp, although he was in my tummy still. A close second would be your Poison shirt, because I’m a huge 80’s fan, and my son loves whenever we listen to 80’s music together.
Can I choose all of the above? 🙂 If I would have to choose just one, i would say the Grateful Dead asymmetrical tank for my 20 month old diva…i mean daughter. She is such a free spirit, it would suit her perfectly. Thank you!
omg! i need the whole line. I have been SUCH a fan since I had my first, 6 yrs ago. And now my daughter sports RS all the time too. I am soooo happy the tank dresses are back…they are so cute and comfy.
if I had to pick one..I would go grateful dead asymetrical…size 5t…only because it’s the first asymetrical I have seen and it is adorable!
I love the Van Halen t-shirt….Van Halen is the first concert I ever went to. My father took me and my brother lol. Luckily, Ben can still fit into a size 12.
I LOVE them all! But If I had to choose, I would choose one of my husband’s favorite bands… the grateful dead tee in 18 mo. 🙂
My 3-year-old Ayla Jay needs the long-sleeve John Lennon shirt dress because she’s just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round while imagining that she’s standing in the dockets of Hampton trying to get to Holland or France.
It’s gotta be the Aerosmith Dress …didn’t think I would find anything for us…I mean, Ben likes Supertramp, and the Lilith Fair is more my speed than Grateful Dead or Who is The WHo anyway? But Aerosmith is a funny thing in our house, when I found myself trying to explain what “Dude Looke Like a Lady” is about to my curious crew. And they love that Steven Tyler is actually a dude who looks like a lady…and he’s on American Idol, and they are from Boston, where I am dangerously close to residing for longer than my stint as an Angeleno (waaahhhh).
My goodness! These are adorable! My pic would be the Beatles Yellow Sub tank dress!
These are great. My pic would be the Blondie Ruffle Dress since I have a daughter who couldn’t possibly be more into pink and ruffles. She would love it (and of course needs it)!
My niece very love dresses! So, she will be glad to get new dress for your birthday in the end of March
I love the Grateful Dead dress!!! Although I am not sure that I will tell my daughters about all of the trouble Mommy and Daddy got into while listening to the band before she was born. 🙂
I’ve got to have the yellow submarine tank dress b/c we listen to the lullaby version every morning while Lily drinks her milk! You are the best, Amy! You inspire me! Xoxo
Absolutely, the BOSTON tee! Boston is my son’s middle name — and we actually call him that instead of his first name most of the time. How cool would that be! I have never seen anything with this on it and I was thrilled when I saw these! I’d love to win this for him!
